How Motivation Works

I watched a video a couple days ago that really got me thinking. I put together my own video fast so it is raw and unedited .. just me talking through my thoughts. I want to put it in your mind and try to motivate you the way that I got motivated when I started thinking in depth about the topic of “Motivation” itself and what I do daily.

Don’t let distractions distract you. Don’t let the world blurr your vision.

For a lot of years I let other people and things.. most of all the abstract concept of money control my every move. Working to make money for rent, gas, car, trips, clothes and also paying money to get an education to make money for my future .. money money money. Always so focused on money I forgot who I was.

Only in the last year, have I really done some in depth thinking and reflecting on my life and where it is I want to go. What is most important to me, and how I think I can make a difference in this world or even with each individual I come in contact with. Coming back to my core values. But guess what I learned…. thinking only creates thoughts until you take action. I have slowly but surely started to make some moves in the last couple months. Maybe even so minuet another person might not see… but my heart knows. It all starts with you. You need to find your own balance and you can accomplish way more than the mind can conceive. It’s always “better late than never”.

I’m a work in progress and I’m always striving to find my authentic best self. I have a long way to go yet and a lot of action to take.

I realized one very important thing – everything starts from the mind. I take 30 minutes a day to just read, watch a video, sit in silence, read a positive quote and get ready for action.

Take your next step – you have 5 seconds.
